MILWAUKEE - The cream is puffed, the deep fryers are ready and the sticks are waiting to pierce the food. That means the Wisconsin State Fair starts Thursday.

There are a lot of stories from the fair over the years. One of the guys who has been a staple at the fair for years is Steve Sazama, or Saz.

Saz sponsors the racing pigs. He remembers that the first guy who ran the races had a bull whip.

“The last night of the fair he came over to the tent and I had a cigarette in my mouth and he took the bull whip and got it out,” Saz said. “I’ve never been so scared in my life.”

There are a lot of new things to see at State Fair this year. There are 70 new foods, and 21 of them are on a stick. Herb Kohl's milk tent has moved. There are white tigers and a monkey show this year as well.
