Dear God, No
By Dan O'Donnell
All of Packer Nation is holding its collective breath as Donald Driver's foot undergoes a battery of tests today.
Unfortunately, wide receiver is a position at which the Pack is woefully thin, but rookie James Jones was impressive again last night, catching 6 balls for 80 yards. It's clear this kid is going to be good, but he and Greg Jennings won't be able to carry a west coast offense without a dynamic playmaker/ball-control receiver like Driver in the mix.
Color me pessimistic, but I don't feel too comfortable turning the keys to the offense over to Carlyle Holiday and Ruvell Martin, so if you'll excuse me, I'll be in silent prayer for the remainder of the day.
