Report: Rodriguez sues Selig, MLB over Biogenesis
Alex Rodriguez is going to court to sue the Milwaukee-based commissioner of Major League Baseball and the sport's organizing body itself, according to a published report.
The Times says that MLB is accused of "buying the cooperation of Anthony Bosch, the head of an anti-aging clinic at the center of a doping scandal, as part of a continuing 'witch hunt' to force him out of the sport."
Rodriguez's legal team has begun its appeal of a 211-game MLB-issued suspension.
Bosch operated the Biogenesis firm, the same group connected to Brewers slugger Ryan Braun who was suspended 65 games for performance-enhancing drugs.
