MILWAUKEE - Sometimes, you just need a couple days off to clear your head.
The Brewers may need to clear out a lot more after falling to last place in the NL Central with a 2-6 start to their season.
The Brewers and Cubs had Wednesday's game rained out, with Thursday being a scheduled day off for Milwaukee.
The teams will replay the game on July 30th.
"It comes at a good time for us," Ryan Braun told the Journal Sentinel.
"We're obviously not playing well, and nobody enjoys playing in this weather. The combination of those two things, I think we're fortunate to have the day off."
The Crew gets back in gear Friday night as they take on the St. Louis Cardinals on the road.
Bob Uecker and Joe Block will have the call of the game at 6:40 p.m. Friday on 620WTMJ.
One Brewers superfan has the whole week off with the Brewers on the road, but 620WTMJ's Gene Mueller profiled her: Front Row Amy.
Can Front Row Amy hit? The Brewers may resort to calling her up (we kid, of course) with their failures to find offense in the wake of Aramis Ramirez's injury.
The failure there, and especially in the bullpen, is prompting Bleacher Report to call the Brewers fan base one of three "already in full-on panic mode."
But we can't leave Chicago without this story: someone left a goat's head for the Cubs' new owner, Tom Ricketts.
