Rodgers' name misspelled on NFL jersey ad
GREEN BAY - Apparently, the National Football League has accidentally advertised Aaron "Rogers" jerseys in its digital marketing efforts.
NFLshop.com sent an e-mail to Packers fans with an ad for new Nike-brand jerseys. That ad incorrectly spelled Aaron Rodgers' last name.
NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy humorously noted the error on his Twitter account, saying "thanks friens. yes, nflshop emaile a note to Packers istribution list & spelle QB's name wrong. yes we've seen iscount oublecheck as"
Nike has become the new manufacturer of NFL-licensed jerseys, and the league has made an advertising and marketing push to promote the product.
