Brewers pep rally slated for Thursday at Summerfest grounds
MILWAUKEE - Brewers fans can cheer on their team at a playoff rally at the Summerfest grounds on Thursday.
With Brewers Fever in high gear and the 2011 Major League Baseball Playoffs starting on Saturday, fans will pack the Miller Park Oasis on the grounds for the event.
The pep rally is free, but parking will cost $5 per vehicle.
Gates open at 3:30 p.m., but organizers are suggesting that fans get to the Summerfest Grounds early, with limited space.
Brewers players, coaches and broadcasters including Newsradio 620 WTMJ's Bob Uecker and Cory Provus will participate and "Five for Fighting" will perform.
Time Warner Cable will also be giving away limited-edition Brewers yard signs.
