After all the drama, lies, threats this comes as no surprise. Favre has hinted that he wants to go into the Hall Of Fame as a Viking. He should expect loyalty from Packer fans. WHY? His attitude and actions are inexcusable.
Favre is a nut case, too many Vicoden, or maybe too many hits but the boy is more than a few Mcnuggets short of a Happy Meal. Favre will let this go on as long as any team shows interest. Too many team owners have more money than common sense and will be willing to pay whatever it takes to get a grab at the brass ring, no matter how foolish or how much of a long shot it mat be.

If the media would drop it there wouldn't be any issues. Brett retired and reversed his decision. Packers moved on and Brett is trying to find a good fit if his health is good. If not, he will stay retired. This may be too simple of an explaination to sell the advertising needed to support the different media avenues. I hope he can still play (no matter where) so I can watch him preform.
People say things like "is that anyway to treat him", "never shoudlve released him", or "no matter where he plays ill still cheer for him. Its rediculous to me. When Brent wants to get back at Thompson he is turning his back on everyone in WI. After all he gave us and all we gave him. I can't pretend that its ok for him to want to stick it to the packers organization. because after all WE own the packers. HE retired. He wasnt kicked out. I guess we are all finding out who the REAL Brent is.

BTW, Hows our current QB doing? Never hear anything about him now that Brent is hoarding his attention. In some ways I hope the old man comes back. That way Rodgers can kick his A$$ twice next year.
Favre made a great point when he got interviewed and that is does anyone care that Vince Lombardi went and coached elsewhere? Exactly my point, all you Favre haters make me sick!! That homo Thompson forced him out because he wanted Rodgers to play and what did Rodgers do? Oh thats right he didn't even make the playoffs and he had the same team as Favre thats what I thought!! I pray Favre leads Minnesota to the promise land and all you haters can go to hell!!
Favre is arguably the BEST player to wear the Packers uniform. He gave us 16 years of excitment and hope. I hope he has great success whether he decides to retire or play.
The Favre comparison to Lombardi is a FARCE. Vince stayed, and when he realized the love of the game was too much for him Yes he went to the Redskins. You Actually think he did that to Spite anyone in Green Bay like "Brent" ? Then you're on an illegal substance. Lombardi turned the reins over to Phil Bengston Very close friends. He could've pushed Phil out and he didn't "Loyal Friendhip". Brent should look up Johnny Unitas he's headed in the same direction, Google that name and replace it Favre
Brett is right, nobody remembers Lombardi as coach of the Redskins. Brett changed his mind. I'm sure all the Favre haters have never changed their minds about anything. Brett gave his all for 16 years. It's Packers fans who are the divas, whining and crying about how Brett has treated them. Brett wants to stick to TT, not to the fans. Brett has every right to play just as TT has every right to run Favre out of Green Bay and replace him with Rodgers. Favre haters need to get a life!
Brett WAS great. He doesn't, and didn't, understand what a icon he would become if he hadn't held the Packers and the fans hostage year after year. He tried to compare himself the Lombardi. Are you serious?! Lombardi brought MULTIPLE championships and left to a team in a different division and NOT a hated rival. HE understood the legacy he had created and he didn't tarnish it. Those of you that have put Brett above the Packers aren't really Packer fans and you don't really get it. So sad.
Hey Jimmy, Lombardi also left the cupboard bare and then bolted to Washington. Most of the Packers of the 60's retired within 2 years of Lombardi stepping down as coach. Lombardi won 5 championships but left the Packers when his moves weren't working and decided to coach elsewhere rather than fix his own mess. Lombardi left the Packers in such a mess it wasn't until Ron Wolf came and straightened things out. Wolf started by trading for Atlanta's 3rd string QB. Can you tell me his name Jimmy boy?

Green Bay had one of the all time great QBs and this is how Packers fans treat him??? No wonder he wants to go to Minnesota. I wouldn't want to play for a team with the biggest crybaby fan base in all of sports. I hope Brett beats Green Bay twice and all you crybabies can kiss his butt.
Um, Jimmy, in case you didn't know, I slammed you buddy. Lombardi screwed the Packers worse than Brett ever did. Only guys like Dan Devine and Ted Thompson have screwed the Packers worse than Lombardi.
I don't understand why everyone hates Favre. GB didn't want him. He wanted to play so he went elsewhere. If he can still play he wants to this year. Why do you keep bashing him. Get over it! If you hate him that much you should be happy he's with another team and you don't have to watch him. I loved watchine him, he gave me 16 great years. And if he plays I will watch him this year. Like I said you all need to get over it!!!!!!!!
I dare all the Favre loving, Packer hating people to get a bumper sticker or sign and put it on their car that says "Packers Suck - Go Favre". Come on now all you cowards, put your money where your big fat pie hole is. Yeah that's right, I didn't think so. Big talk when you can hide behind the computer. Bunch of cry baby losers!
How about a shirt that says that.
Packers Suck - Go Favre. Where is your shirt? You all love Favre so much put it on and get out and let everyone know. If you are so right you will have nothing to worry about. Put it on and show up at one of the bars that the Unit is at. Come on Who Cares, Frank V and Tim. Cluck, cluck, cluck that's all I can hear. What doesn't Mommy let you come out that late. SHOW UP OR SHUT UP.
Lombardi had class. Favre does not. Lombardi had dignity. Favre does not. There is no way a coach like Lombardi would ever have put up with Favre or his diva antics.
So the Favre fans think it was ok the way he went tattling to Detroit last year and talked illegally to the Vikings? We should respect him why? He got the Packers to the Superbowl twice and only won one time. YEARS AGO! Then when he fails to get them to the superbowl the third time he runs off in tears and quits. What a baby.
Frank V do you think that you would have been any smarter if your mother would have married her other brother? Also it takes one to know one. I guess that would make you a what? With all your name calling I guess we can take our pick or choose them all. Dude use your computer to look up the facts before you bother to post all of your garbage. It's just a bunch of lies like Favre tells. No sane person would ever post what you do. What hospital or prison are you in?
