The world of sports has changed dramatically. First it was soccer players sporting sponsor's ads, then it was jockeys and then, the ultimate fiasco…..baseball put ads for the movie Spiderman on their bases for a short time, much to the angst of their traditionalist fans. Now, it’s the Houston Texans. That’s right; the Texans have succumbed to the monetary pressures and are actually putting sponsor patches on their practice jerseys. A new NFL rule allows teams to sport the patches on their practice jerseys only but one would assume that we're only a short time away from the full exposure of game jerseys.
