Cincinnati Fans Follow Favre Fans

By Bill Michaels

Over the summer, the Brett Favre vs. Green Bay Packers divorce became so contentious that Favre fans felt compelled to put up billboards supporting their guy.

Taking a page from the saga’s notebook, Cincinnati Bengals fans have followed suit.  They call themselves the "WHO DEY Revolution" and they are more than frustrated over years of losing.  As Favre fans did, so the Revolution follows.  They have purchased billboards across Cincinnati asking owner Mike Brown to hire a real general manager for the franchise.

Currently the GM position is, what Mike Brown calls, a 3-headed monster.  Mike Brown, his daughter Katie and head coach Marvin Lewis make up the GM position.  But it’s Brown that has been the main-man in charge of football personnel decisions for 17 seasons and has yet to win a single playoff game. Since Mike Brown took over for his father Paul, Brown's record is 98 -183 which is the worst winning percentage of all professional sports teams.
This season, for the sixth time since Brown started running the club, the Bengals started the year 0-6. The WHO DEY Revolution says unless Brown brings in people who know what they are doing you can expect a lot more losing…and more signs.
