GREEN BAY – Imagine getting the ultimate Packers souvenir: Brett Favre’s house! David Pearson and his family are moving in to Number Four’s old house. The first time Pearson walked into the house, he was in awe. “It’s somebody who I followed all these years, and he lived here. Surreal is a good word,” Pearson said. Favre made his home at Pearson’s new home for the last three years, but after Number Four left for the last time this past August, the house went up for sale. The Pearson family jumped at the chance to look at it. “You can say, the fact it was Brett Favre’s house, brought us to the house,” Pearson said. When the Person family was given a tour, it was still full of the Favre’s belongings. Pearson says surprising to most fans, there was no Packers gear and no trophies. “The pictures made you feel this was a family home. This wasn’t a football player’s home,” Pearson said. Now, the Favre family’s stuff is gone, and new boxes are being moved in. Though Pearson loves the idea this was Favre’s house, he wants his neighbors to know they can start referring to it as Dave’s house. “It’s our house, but it’s the best conversation piece about a house that anybody in the near future will have in Green Bay,” Pearson said. Pearson says he got a chance to meet Deanna Favre. He says she was sad to leave Green Bay and the house.
