APPLETON, Wis. (AP) -- An 8-year-old Appleton boy had the ultimate show-and-tell for his third-grade class and the rest of McKinley Elementary School.

Sam Arnoldussen arrived at school Tuesday in a stretch limo and brought his new friend -- Green Bay Packers linebacker A.J. Hawk.

Arnoldussen was the winner in the Packers market for the NFL Take a Player to School sweepstakes. When approached by the Packers, Hawk jumped at the chance to take part in the sweepstakes, saying he could barely look at adults when he was a little kid and wanted to make it fun for the winner.

Hawk was greeted by screaming kids when he, Arnoldussen and his two brothers arrived at McKinley. The linebacker joined the kids in the gym for relays and tossed some footballs.

Sam's mother, Jill Arnoldussen, says it's something her son will never forget.
