The offensive line keeping the new age Purple People Eaters off Aaron Rodgers.  It's hard enough to run on Williams squared in the center of the Vikes line, and now they have to do it without Scott Wells, shuffling Jason Spitz into center, with Tony Moll likely at right guard. Adrian Peterson.  If he runs wild on the injury plagued Packers d-line, it's good night Irene.  That would open things up for Tavaris Jackson to just keep the rest of the defense honest. Packers 24, Vikings 20.  Somehow I think the D does enough to keep Peterson in check, while Rodgers finds Greg Jennings and Donald Lee for a couple of TD strikes, with possibly a TD off an Tarvaris Jackson interception the difference.

Giving Aaron Rodgers time to pick apart a weak secondary.  The only problem is the Vikings have the best defensive line in the NFL

Adrian Peterson will get his carries, but Tavaris Jackson will have to prove he's a big time QB and can bring balance to Minnesota's offense

Packers 20, Vikings 17.  It's always a tightly played game, and this will be no different.  Which quarterback will be able to handle the pressure of Monday Night Football?

The running game.  Ryan Grant is untested and the line is not healthy. If they can run they will succeed on offense. Strong pass rush. Tavaris Jackson is suspect at QB.  If they can put pressure on early they will rattle him. Vikings 24, Packers 17.

Balance against a stingy Viking defense. The Vikings are vulnerable in the secondary, but have an improved pass rush. I think the Packers will look to run the ball outside and utilize the speed of Ryan Grant and Brandon Jackson. Running between the tackles is a tough task against the Vikings.

Passing game. I do not believe the air attack of Tavaris Jackson, Bernard Berrian, Sidney Rice and Robert Ferguson is good enough to beat teams...I just don't. Jackson needs to prove that he can play pitch-and-catch in order to keep teams from stacking the box waiting for Adrian Peterson.

Packers 20, Vikings 16.  The Packers get early control of the division and tie-breaker.

Whether Ryan Grant and the running game can take pressure off of Rodgers in his first NFL start. Stopping all-universe running back Adrian Peterson, whom the Packers held to 45 yards in a 34-0 rout last year. Vikings 21, Packers 17.  A solid debut from Rodgers is spoiled by a superior Vikings defense and run game.

The offensive game plan, avoiding third and long.  When Rodgers was hot during the preseason, he was hitting receivers on three-step drops where even great defensive lines couldn't reach him in time.  Throw short, easily completable passes on early downs, and the pressure is literally off.

Ryan Pickett and Johnny Jolly.  The Pickett fence and the Jolly Green Giant must play giant tonight to tie up the Vikings' offensive line and allow the Packers' great linebacking corps to fly to the ball as it's being carried by the NFL's best young running back.

Packers 17, Vikings 13.  Tavaris Jackson still doesn't bring enough of a game to support Adrian Peterson against a powerful front seven.  Rodgers will make some mistakes, but will overcome them with the help of Driver, Jennings and company to give the Packers the win that eventually clinches the NFC North title.

The short passing game.  The Vikings run defense potentially controls the line of scrimmage, so to march the chains, the short passes may have to make up for a running game that could be shut down. Run the ball.  Minnesota, you have the best running game in the league and a wounded defensive line against you.  Adrian Peterson, your table is ready. Vikings 27, Packers 17.
