Player Vitals '07 Stats Synopsis
#12 Aaron Rodgers
Aaron Rodgers. | Photo: Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
6-2, 220 lb.
5th Year, California
20-28, 218 yards, 1 TD, 106.0 rating In the games that don't count, he performed more than well when he had any semblance of an offensive line.  If he can ignore the boos that will most assuredly rain down with his first interception at home and he only listenes to the voices that count (internally and from his coaches), similar performances will probably happen in the games that do count.
#10 Matt Flynn
6-2, 222 lb.
Rookie, Louisiana State
(with LSU)
202-359, 2407 yards, 21 TDs, 11 INTs)
At first, Flynn couldn't handle things at the pace of the pro game - but then he adjusted well enough in the 4th preseason game to have the step up on Brohm.  He earned the 2nd string role.  If Rodgers is as fragile as his past tends to show (which only means he, like every other quarterback in the history of western civilization, isn't Brett Favre), Flynn will suddenly be thrust in the 1st-string role.
#11 Brian Brohm
Brian Brohm. | Photo: Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
6-3, 223 lb.
Rookie, Louisville
(with Louisville)
308-473, 4024 yards, 30 TDs, 12 INTs)
The game is moving too fast at NFL speeds for Brohm, who lambasted the Big East Conference in his years at Louisville.  He really couldn't do much because his backup offensive linemen acted like swiss cheese against starting defensive personnel most times.  Maybe learning the game on the sideline can increase his knowledge base and get him the lessons he needs to learn to feel better mentally.
