The City of Green Bay is honoring Brett Favre with another street named for the quarterback.

Favre Boulevard is expected to be a multi-million dollar ordeal renovation project.

Mayor Jim Schmitt is hoping that it will be a nice addition.

"I visualize a very decorative, upscale boulevard, something we don't have right now," said Schmitt.

The location of Favre Boulevard has not been decided. Ashland Avenue, Military Road and Velp Avenue are all under consideration.

Long History of Naming Green Bay Streets after Packers

The city already has a street named Brett Favre Pass, along with a number of others who have monikers given to them from former Packers greats.

Lambeau Field stands on Lombardi Avenue, named in 1968 after then-Packers General Manager and former coach Vince Lombardi, who led the team to five NFL championships.

Green Bay named Holmgren Way after coach Mike Holmgren, who directed the Packers to a victory in Super Bowl XXXI.

It also named the Ray Nitschke Memorial Bridge after the 60's-era Hall of Fame linebacker died in 1999.
