Brett Favre says he doesn't expect last night's injuries will keep him from starting when the Packers play Oakland in Lambeau Field nine days from now.
In a post-game news conference, Favre told reporters he expects to be fine for the Oakland game, although he admitted his right arm was still tingling and he probably won't know for sure until sometime next week.
He says he's not too concerned about the separation of his left, non-throwing shoulder. But he says only time will tell how well he recovers from the injury to his right elbow.
Favre says he couldn't grip the football well enough to go back in the game after being injured, even though he wanted to.
But he also says backup Aaron Rodgers did an excellent job leading the team the rest of the way.
So the odds are that Favre will keep his quarterback-record string of consecutive starts going. |
