Deanna Favre Reveals Brett's Alcohol Abuse in New Book

By Vicky Hollowell and Charles Robinson

It turns out that Vicodin wasn't the only demon that Brett Favre has struggled with during his career.

In Deanna Favre's new book, "Don't Bet Against Me," she said that Brett Favre dealt with an alcohol addiction that almost broke up their marriage.

She said that she was on the verge of divorcing Brett if he didn't get help, which caused him to check into rehab in 1999.

She also said that he hasn't touched alcohol since completing the program.
