5:26 p.m. Runners on 2nd and 3rd
Milwaukee 5, Arizona 4

5:16 p.m. Bases loaded
Mota vs. Ojeda: bounced to right, Weeks dives, but can't get the play to first. If he hadn't dived, a run scores. Yost comes out and takes Mota out.

Mota vs. Burke: inside pitch produces a walk.
5:13 p.m. Runner on 1st
Guillermo Mota (for Gagne) vs. Hammock: an infield single off the outstretched glove of Branyan.
Top 9th
5:09 p.m. 3 Out

5:08 p.m. 2 Out, runner on 1st and 3rd
Rosales vs. Fielder: jammed inside, his timing's off - out at short.
5:07 p.m. 1 Out, runner on 1st and 2nd

5:06 p.m. 1 Out, runner on 1st

Bottom 8th

Robertson vs. Craig Counsell, the '01 World Series-clinching run-scorer for Arizona: easy fly to left.
4:54 p.m. 2 Out
Robertson vs. Kendall: fast bouncer gets Kendall on the first pitch. Gagne (gulp) is warming up.
4:53 p.m. 1 Out
Connor Robertson (for Cruz) vs. Cameron: bullet, but Ojeda, who stays in after pinch-hitting, one-hands it with pretty good hang time.
Bottom 7th

Cruz vs. Branyan: goes around on a half-swing for strike 3
4:35 p.m. 1 Out, runner on 3rd
Cruz vs. Fielder, who's 2-34 in recent games: bouncer to Hudson at 2nd, and Fielder got jammed on it.
4:34 p.m. Runner on 2nd
Juan Cruz (for Webb) vs. Hart: bomb to right and it's off Upton's glove and off the wall, and Hart goes into 2nd where he overruns but gets back safely.
Bottom 6th
4:33 p.m. 3 Out
Webb vs. Hammock: a more danverous 399-foot out to right center, where Cameron gets to it again. The hairiest 1-2-3 inning you'll see.
4:31 p.m. 2 Out
Webb vs. Young: a nice long 411-foot out to center, where Cameron grabs it.
4:29 p.m. 1 Out
Webb vs. Reynolds: sharp grounder to 3rd for an out.
Top 6th
4:25 p.m. 3 Out
Webb vs. Hardy, who's 3-3 with two doubles and a HR: long fly to right center, but Young snares it in at the warning track. That's a homer at Miller Park.
4:23 p.m. 2 Out, runners on 1st and 2nd
Webb vs. Weeks: fly to right-center caught by Young.
4:22 p.m. 1 Out, runners on 1st and 2nd
Webb vs. Parra: an intentional walk for a double play setup. The D-Backs bullpen is working.
4:21 p.m. 1 Out, runner on 2nd
Webb vs. Parra: a stolen base on an intentional walk pitch. Yeesh for Arizona, but we love it.
4:20 p.m. 1 Out, runner on 1st
Webb vs. Kendall: a bouncer off the shortstop's glove gets Kendall on, score it a base hit.
4:15 p.m. 1 Out
Milwaukee 5, Arizona 0
Webb vs. Cameron: after a stolen base by Russell the Muscle's leg muscles, a long bomb down the left field line that stays fair, though the Zona bullpen screams foul, as does Bob Melvin. The umps discuss amongst themselves and get all pheklempt. The replay from one angle shows it was foul by at least a foot and a half, according to my TV replay eyes, which aren't the best. Bad call at first, but not for Brewers fans.
4:13 p.m. 1 Out, runner on 1st
Webb vs. Kapler: swing-and-miss strikeout.
4:10 p.m. Runner on 1st
Webb vs. Branyan: slicer to right for a base hit. Can they get Webb out of this game in this inning?
Bottom 5th
4:08 p.m. 3 Out

4:03 p.m. 1 Out, runners on 1st and 2nd
Parra vs. Upton: another deep fly to center where Cameron's right under it.
4:00 p.m. Runners on 1st and 2nd
Parra vs. Drew: a low-and-outside pitch walks Drew. Another mess, and Ned's face is convulsed in pensiveness.
4:00 p.m. Runner on 1st
Parra vs. Webb: bullet to right-center for an easy base hit, though he ran slow enough that Cameron might have had a chance to get him at first.
Top 5th
3:56 p.m. 3 Out
Webb vs. Fielder: K's on a swinging strike from a nasty curveball.
3:56 p.m. 2 Out, runner on 2nd
Webb vs. Hart: easy grounder to short, but Hardy stays smartly on 2nd to avoid a DP or forceout.
3:54 p.m. 1 Out, runner on 2nd
Webb vs. Hardy: shot down the right field line, an easy double.
3:52 p.m. 1 Out
Webb vs. Weeks: line out to center field.
Bottom 4th
3:49 p.m. 3 Out
Parra vs. Burke: chopper past Parra, but right at 2nd where Hardy grabs, flips from the glove hand to Weeks, barehands and turns the DP!
3:47 p.m. 1 Out, runners on 1st and 2nd
Parra vs. Hammock: curve ball bigger than the Gateway Arch gets Hammock on a called strike three.
3:44 p.m. Runners on 1st and 2nd
Webb vs. Young: easy base hit, but it gets to Kapler so quick they can't advance a runner to 3rd/
3:41 p.m. Runner on 1st
Webb vs. Reynolds: high-and-outside fastball leads to Parra's 2nd walk in three batters.
Top 4th

Webb vs. Parra: a strikeout pop out of the glove and tag K.
3:36 p.m. 2 Out, runner on 1st
Webb vs. Kendall: looper to center for a base hit, so Weeks, at worst, comes in next inning.
3:35 p.m. 2 Out
Webb vs. Cameron: long fly to left doesn't go far enough, and an easy out there.
3:34 p.m. 1 Out
Webb vs. Kapler: slow chopper right back to Webb, who gets the fast out.
Bottom 3rd
3:31 p.m. 3 Out
Parra vs. Jackson: another home-run-in-many-stadiums-but-a-deep-outfield-wall-makes-it-an-out out in center
3:29 p.m. 2 Out, runner on 1st
Parra vs. Hudson: a four-pitch walk....unusual.
3:28 p.m. 2 Out
Parra vs. Upton: long bomb to right-center - a very deep wall in right center - allowing Hart's speed to get to it for an out that could be a homer in some parks.
3:25 p.m. 1 Out
Parra vs. Drew: he goes for a check swing, but he goes and it's strike three.
Top 3rd
3;24 p.m. 3 Out

3:17 p.m. 1 Out
Webb vs. Weeks: inside sinker gets him for a swing-and-a-miss strikeout, his 2nd of the day.
Bottom 2nd
3:14 p.m. 3 Out
Parra vs. Webb: high bouncer...Hardy gets it in the infield grass and throws Webb out.
3:13 p.m. 2 Out, runner on 1st
Parra vs. Burke: bouncer to Hardy, diving backhanded stop to his right and another force out at 2nd from Hardy's knees.
3:11 p.m. 1 Out, runner on 1st
Parra vs. Hammock: one hopper to Branyan, easy force, but Weeks drops it.
3:09 p.m. Runner on 1st
Parra vs. Young: Branyan bobbled a hot shot to 3rd, so it's E5
Top 2nd
3:06 p.m. 3 Out
Webb vs. Parra: a rare 1-5-4 double play on a comebacker to Webb, who gave to Reynolds, who then got Cameron in a rundown, then fired to Hudson to get Parra at 2nd.
3:05 p.m. 1 Out, runner on 3rd
Milwaukee 2, Arizona 0
Webb vs. Kendall: an RBI out thanks to Mark Reynolds bobbling the ball at 3rd base, not able to then get Kapler.
3:03 p.m. Runners on 2nd and 3rd
Milwaukee 1, Arizona 0
Webb vs. Kendall: a pitch past Hammock scores Branyan - WP.
3:01 p.m. Bases loaded
Webb vs. Cameron: an HBP to load the bases. This is REALLY rare. Cameron got him just on the edge of the left hip.
2:59 p.m. Runners on 1st and 2nd
Webb vs. Kapler: soft liner to left for a base hit, and a rare occurence for Webb - 2 on, 0 out.
2:57 p.m. Runner on 1st
Webb vs. Branyan: a high fastball on a 3-2 count walks him.
Bottom 1st
2:54 p.m. 3 Out
Parra vs. Reynolds: bounced to J.J. for the force at 2nd, so it's an easy ending to a rough inning.
2:52 p.m. 2 Out, runner on 1st and 3rd
Parra vs. Jackson: liner to right center, and Hart cuts it off from becoming doubles territory. Still, danger, Will Robinson.
2:49 p.m. 2 Out, runner on 1st
Parra vs. Hudson: Parra may want to cut Hudson's productivity compared to last night's 4-5 evening, but Hudson takes one right back at Parra, and past him for a base hit.
2:48 p.m. 2 Out
Parra vs. Upton: perfect outside corner strike, Upton's caught looking.
2:44 p.m. 1 Out
Parra vs. Drew: long but playable fly to Kapler in left on the warning track. Worrisome.
Top 1st
2:44 p.m. 3 Out
Webb vs. Fielder: bounced to Conor Jackson at first, Webb covers, threat averted. Darn.
2:43 p.m. 2 Out, runner on 2nd
Webb vs. Hart: swing-and-a-miss chasing a powerful breaking ball down and away.
2:41 p.m. 1 Out, runner on 2nd
Webb vs. Hardy, with a 14-game hitting streak coming in. Will he get past the 1/4 mark of Joe DiMaggio's streak on this at bat? long bomb off the wall for a ground-rule double - powerful liner to left. 15 in a row.
2:40 p.m. 1 Out
Webb vs. Weeks: down on three strikes, looking. No repeat of his pinch hit heroics in AB #1.

Wow...rare day off for Ryan Braun, but needed, I'm sure.
