(AP) -- Brett Favre aired it out a little more in Green Bay Packers practice today, indicating that his injured elbow and shoulder aren't holding him back from preparing for Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders at Lambeau Field. Favre threw several intermediate-length passes and one deep ball in the portion of practice that was open to the media. He did have a wrap on his right arm, but otherwise showed no indications of soreness from his recent injuries. Favre left last Thursday's loss to the Cowboys after bruising his right elbow and separating his left shoulder in the second quarter and was unable to return. But he expects to play Sunday, in what would be his quarterback-record 250th consecutive start -- 270 games, if you count the playoffs. Favre threw only a few passes in Wednesday's practice, but expected to ramp up his workload as the week progressed. Backup Aaron Rodgers has a hamstring injury and could be out up to two weeks, leaving recently signed Craig Nall as his backup. (Copyright 2007 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.) |
