Green Bay 26, Kansas City 22
With a 3rd an 10 at the KC 31, the Packers chose to run with Ryan Grant instead of throw the ball, forsaking the chance at a first down.  Mason Crosby made Coach McCarthy's decision by edging in a 45 yard field goal to make Kansas City go the length of the field to beat Green Bay.

2:58 p.m.  4th Quarter  1:59
The Packers defense set up a 3rd and 17 on the Chiefs' late key possession thanks to a key KGB sack, and the Chiefs chose to punt following an incompletion.  Charles Woodson returned the punt 27 yards.

2:55 p.m.  4th Quarter  2:52
Right after the Packers' score, Jeff Webb caught a 38-yard pass from Damon Huard to put Kansas City in position - until Mike McCarthy challenged the catch and the officials ruled was incomplete, as Webb only put one foot in bounds on the catch.

Green Bay 23, Kansas City 22

Kansas City 22, Green Bay 16
Officials ruled that CB Charles Woodson committed an interference penalty to put Kansas City in the red zone, though replays show little contact on the play.  Next play: a 17-yard touchdown pass to Tony Gonzalez, burning Atari Bigby, followed by a two-point conversion after two Packers penalties.

2:41 p.m.  4th Quarter  7:40
Chiefs RB Larry Johnson may have aggrevated his knee injury, as he has come off the field and on to the bench to have doctors look at his current leg problem.

2:36 p.m.  4th Quarter 8:52
Green Bay 16, Kansas City 14
Though Kansas City's stout defense stalled the Packers' red zone opportunity, Green Bay's Mason Crosby hit a 33 yard field goal to put the Packers in the lead for the third time.

2:31 p.m.  4th Quarter 11:01
In response to Kansas City's score, Brett Favre found Donald Driver on a 44-yard over-the-shoulder catch to put Green Bay into the Kansas City red zone.

2:08 p.m.  3rd Quarter  2:00
A.J. Hawk intercepted Damon Huard, returning the ball deep into Kansas City territory.  On the subsequent play, Ryan Grant ran the ball into the end zone, but officials blew the play dead when they incorrectly ruled him out of bounds on the 15 yard line.

2:04 p.m.  3rd Quarter 3:27
Mason Crosby missed a 52 yard field goal, keeping the lead in Kansas City's hands.  Corey Williams also hurt his knee, and he's joined Nick Collins in the locker room getting a knee X-rayed.

Doctors are performing an x-ray on Nick Collins' knee after his injury.

1:52 p.m.  3rd Quarter 10:31

1:23 p.m.  2nd Quarter :15
Kansas City 7, Green Bay 6
Chiefs RB Larry Johnson converted Atari Bigby's pass interference penalty into a one-yard touchdown, giving Kansas City the lead.

1:16 p.m.  2nd Quarter :35
Favre delivered an incomplete pass to Vernand Morency that was interpreted by the officials as a lateral, which Morency illegally kicked out of bounds, causing a 10-yard penalty.   On replay, Favre started his pass behind the 30-yard line, and it hit Morency's hand ahead of the 30, and Morency's kick was subsequently ruled only a five-yard penalty.

1:11 p.m.  2nd Quarter  1:00
The Packers have forced Kansas City to fail on all five third-down opportunities, as Nick Barnett's unblocked pass rush forced a Damon Huard incompletion.

1:05 p.m.  2nd Quarter  1:55
The Packers extend their lead right before halftime as Mason Crosby nailed a 36 yard field goal, a play following Koren Robinson's first catch after his NFL-mandated suspension.

1:00 p.m  2nd Quarter  2:40
Donald Lee has his third 3rd-down reception for a first down, and he broke a big one, going 48 yards with a short pass from Brett Favre, keeping the current drive alive.

12:42 p.m.  2nd Quarter 11:33
