The author of six books, including A Nation of Victims and Dumbing Down Our Kids, Charlie has served Milwaukee as a reporter for the Journal, editor-in-chief of Milwaukee Magazine, lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and special assistant to the county executive. Charlie hosts his weekday program on 620 WTMJ from 8:30am-noon; has a weekly television show "Sunday Insight with Charlie Sykes" on TODAY'S TMJ4 Sundays at 10:00 am; writes a weekly column for Community Newspapers; and serves as the Wisconsin blogosphere champion with his "Sykes Writes" blog. A Pulitzer Prize nominee, Charlie has appeared on national television, broadcast from the White House, and spoken at major universities.
