I want to ask for your help. An old dear friend of mine who came to the Milwaukee Brewers in a trade at the end of the 82' season, and is a team mate of many of the players who are currently gathered in Milwaukee for Tuesdays celebration, is in serious medical trouble. Tom Tellman was diagnosed after an ER admittance to a Philadelphia hospital, with severe peritonitis. Anyone who has experience with this illness knows that it claims lives indiscriminately. Toms prognosis isn't certain, but one thing is for sure, if the good fans in Milwaukee who remember seeing him play, and the players who played alongside him can do anything, it's offer their thoughts and a prayer if appropriate to the individual. I think it would do wonders also if anyone wanted to send greetings to Tom.
