Who Has the Better Circus? Ringling Bros. or Favre

By Todd Welter

Now the reports have Favre trying to rip off his bicep tendon to throw pain free passes for the Vikings. Like any good circus, you got to keep the audience on their toes. It got me thinking what is the better circus? Is it the greatest show on earth, the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus or Bus Bros. and Deanna & Brett's Wonderful Tractor Watch Circus? Let's see how they stack up against each other.

-Ringling's Circus has exotic animals such as lions and white tigers. Brett's circus has exotic rumors like he is throwing passes to a high school team and takes secret flights to Alabama.
-Ringling's Circus travels the world entertaining millions of people. Brett makes people travel to him while frustrating millions with his indecision. Although his circus does make some special road showings in Green Bay, New York and coming soon to Minnesota.
-Ringling's Circus is accessible by purchasing a ticket. Brett's circus is accessible if you work for ESPN.
-Ringling's Circus still has clowns. So does Brett, although his barker calls them journalists.
-Ringling's Circus annouces their show dates in advance. Brett wished he knew when to show up.
-Ringling's Circus has a lion tamer. Brett would tame the Lions by two touchdowns even with a partially torn bicep tendon.
-Some people do not go to the Bailey Circus because they are afraid of clowns. People will stop going to Brett's circus if he stays retired. At least, that is what Brett's circus marketing team keeps telling him.

-Ringling's Circus makes children smile. Brett's circus made kids in Green Bay cry when it left.
-Ringling's Circus forces NBA teams to take long trips when they come to town. Brett's circus wanted to make Ted Thompson take a long trip out of town the problem was Thompson was not a NBA franchise.
-Ringling's Circus has been going strong since 1870. Brett's indecision could keep his circus going just as long.
-P.T. Barnum was once believed to have said "There is a sucker born every minute." Brett once said he was retired.
