I do not mean to preach bitterness and anger towards your fellow man.  When it comes to the Cubs, well, all bets are off.  I almost forgot to help give you, the loyal Brewers fan, a reason to reinforce you angst towards the Cubs during this three-game set.  The reason to hate the Cubs today, besides the fact that as I am writing this the Cubs just went up 2-1, is the beer prices at the bars around Wrigley. 

One of the major draws about Wrigley is all the bars around the dump.  You got the famed Murphy's Bleachers and many other countless bars I have forgotten that I have been to (mostly because I have forgotten much of what happened that night).  The prices are just crazy for what you get.  For example, I was at Sluggers last week for a buddy's birthday outing.  I paid five bucks for a Miller Lite.  I was not that miffed, it is Chicago, prices are little bit steeper than Milwaukee.  I paid five bucks for a can of beer!  A can of beer!  A five dollar beer I would expect at least a glass!  At some liquor stores that gets you a whole six pack or 24-pack of Old Milwaukee.  I remember having to fill out a financial aid form for a round of Bud Lites I bought at Murphy's.  Okay, maybe I embellished a little bit.  I did pay about 45 bucks for seven beers in a plastic cup.  At Steve's on Bluemound that gets you seven pitchers.  At the famed Murphy's Bleachers, that gets you an empty pocket at 11.  You might as well go to the bathroom out in the street with how long the lines are for the can at some of these places.  Murphy's crams in about a couple hundred people and I think they have two toilets and urinal to accommodate everyone. 

The one comment I always get from Cubs fans is how much they love coming to Milwaukee for games because it is more affordable than a night out on the town in Wrigley.  I guess that gives you another reason to hate it when Cubs fans come to Miller Park.
