I must admit, I was curious when the British Tabloid The Sun posted the headline about a leaked video of Michael Jackson rehersing what he hoped was his new signature move dubbed "The Penquin".
I then clicked on the video. It was, in a word, disappointing..
That's it? That's the video sneak that's supposed to get fans fired up to see the rehersal tapes movie, set to come out later this fall? I will say that his voice sounds pretty good in that clip, but still.... The Penguin?

Has it occurred to anyone that maybe he is just counting the beat by swinging himself? Maybe he was going to add a sequence of lights, or a short dance step, or SOMETHING. It's ridiculous to assume it was his new signature move. He is REHEARSING. He is creating. He is feeling inspired and thinking of things on the spot to revisit later on. Think about it. Makes more sense, doesn't it? (I love this clip by the way. i think he sounds amazing) Loving, missing him always.
I was going to say something snarky about cooler head prevailed. He was a talented entertainer, but for me(like many others)that pales when compared to the molestation charges, yes he was found not guilty in court, but as was mentioned, if you have enough money and star power(both of which he had)anything is possible. "Oh he just couldn't have done it he's rich and famous" O.J. and M.J. both guilty as sin.
"He's amazing"? How can you watch him without thinking about the things he did to those kids? Are you that shallow in your hero worship? I agree with the posters on this board who say enough of the negativity. Clearly it's the reporters who will say this is the newest move - we haven't seen all of it and we really don't know. Who cares? He's amazing and always will be. Listen to his voice on this clip. Simply amazing. How many entertainer's voices sound as clear and vibrant after so many years? How many can dance like this at his age? Very few. He's the best and I miss him every single day.
