There's a whole generation of ladies and girls out there that not only have never worn a slip, they don't even know what one is.  Wall Street Journal fashion columnist Christina Binkley has a piece this week on the death of the slip.  It's even hard to find one in a store these days.  Thongs and skirts too short to wear them have made slips go away.  In general, a thing I can surely embrace.  However, I defy you to find ANYTHING sexier than Elizabeth Taylor's "Maggie the Cat" in Cat On a Hot Tin Roof.  That is the sexiest thing I have ever seen on screen.  If I told you anything otherwise there would be a lot of MENDACITY on this blog
