The recent spate of violent crimes in southeastern Wisconsin has renewed the debate about the need to allow law-abiding citizens to legally carry firearms (as permitted in 48 other States).
For a couple of Texas cops though, the problem is with less than concealed carry.
After more than a few beers at a Texas bar named "Twin Peaks", some cops adjourned to the parking lot in the company of one of the establishment's waitresses. In what I'm sure seemed like a good idea at the time, the officers induced the waitress to pose on the rear of one of their squad cars while holding an assault rifle. Predictably, this attracted the attention of a passer-by who called the police.
One officer has now been fired and three others suspended without pay. The waitress has not been charged for carrying with very little concealed.
