A couple of days ago, Cyrus Brown tried to break into the home of a seventy-year-old woman in South Bend, Indiana.  The woman grabbed her handgun and held Brown at gunpoint.  She subsequently called 911 and detained Brown until police arrived.  During the call, she's overheard telling Brown that she will shoot him if he moves.

     Later today, we'll discuss whether the community is safer or more dangerous because a woman like this owns (and is prepared to use) a firerarm?
