Chuck E. Cheeses has a problem and it seems to be nationwide. It’s the 21st century version of Family Feud.  Violence caused by unruly parents is killing the fun and the dirty little secret is it’s cultural.

What to do?

In Flint, Michigan, Chuck E. Cheese dropped alcohol, and banned profanity and gang symbols. In Brookfield, Wisconsin, the city is simply letting Chuck’s alcohol license expire. They are taking the Ald. Robert Bauman approach … Blame the booze!

These initiatives may work temporarily, but in the end it doesn’t matter what they do.

There is a reason why Chuck E. Cheese is plagued with violence while establishments like Stone Fire Pizza are thriving, and it has nothing to do with alcohol.

It’s the culture, stupid!

Stone Fire Pizza is in New Berlin while Chuck E. Cheese is on the bus line. If the thug culture migrates further out, Stone Fire will have it worse than the Chuckster because, ladies and gentlemen, Stone Fire Pizza has a buffet!
