Does Nike make high heels?    Does Goodyear still crank out studded tires?    

       You've got to wonder if the shoe giant is the answer to the burning question, "Why can't Miss USA remain upright at Miss Universe competitions?"

        It happened again Sunday night:

         ...it happened in 2007, too.

       Lost amid all this is the fact that the 2008 pageant was held in Vietnam, and that the winner, Miss Venezuela, was once kidnapped back in her homeland.     And, while the show is a big deal in many a country world wide, there's little if any buzz in the USA for these kind of events.       Plus, what's worse: Miss USA taking her annual spill, or us inflicting the pageant with Jerry Springer as it's host?
