Gas prices are through the roof.
Food isn't a bargain, either.
In an era where "cheap" is rare...comes "free".
Free music returns to Boerner Botanical Gardens in Whitnall Park, starting Wednesday, June 25th. Leading off: the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra.

Did I mention it's free?
Starting this week and running through the rest of the summer, Wimmer Properties will present a variety of groups in the most scenic of settings. There is food and drink to be had, but you can also bring your own jug of whatever, plus grub of your choosing.
Free.
This is one of the best kept secrets in the County, but the word is getting out. The fine folks at Wimmer asked me to emcee the series last summer, and I could notice from my spot on the stage that there seemed to be more and more people each Thursday night and less and less open grass.
Here, courtesty of Hales CornersNow, is this season's schedule. Notice the series moves to Thursday nights after the MSO performance on the 25th.
And, even though the day changes, they remain FREE!
Don't know how to find Whitnall Park, or Boerner? Here's a crude map:

And, as advertised, is your schedule. See you this summer.
