Greg is a Brookfield native who joined WTMJ in 2001. During his time, Greg has grown from an entry level producer to his current role as the Sports Anchor for Wisconsin's Morning News, co-host of Sports Central, and national correspondent for Pro Football Weekly. If Greg looks familiar, it may be because you watched him as a cast member on ESPN's "Beg, Borrow and Deal 2" (http://espn.go.com/eoe/bbd2/) TV series.
Greg graduated with a Radio, TV and Film degree from UW-Oshkosh where he was also a 3-time All-American in Track and Field and WIAC Scholar-Athlete of the year in 2000. When he's not covering sports, Greg is usually playing sports. He remains an avid runner and golfer while finding time to play center field on two Milwaukee softball teams...he's even suited up for the Washington Nationals and played against the Harlem Globetrotters. Outside of the sports landscape, Greg loves travelling, attempting house projects that are waaaay over his head, cooking and live music.
Greg's completed life bucket list includes: Surfing Waikiki; skiing the Alps in Austria; drinking a Guinness at an Irish pub in Dublin; celebrating Mardi Gras in New Orleans; selling his autograph for $1300; throwing out the first pitch at a Brewers game; walking the red carpet at the ESPY awards (twice); flying on the Maloof Brothers private jet; attending a concert at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado; winning a reality TV show; travelling to 38 of the 50 states and 4 European countries; earning a 4.0 one semester in college; jumping out of an airplane; completing a half-marathon; dunking a basketball on a regulation rim; and beating Mike Tyson in "Punchout"... all true.
