OUCH! Think Vikings fans are a little bitter about that last interception? I know I would be, but I'd also realize that when the offensive line allows the quarterback to take a colossal beating and the superstar running back has to be benched because of an acute case of fumbleitis, the last pass is largely irrelevant. I'm not defending Favre's decisionmaking by any means, but Minnesota should have had the game well in hand long before the final seconds. |

Does anyone remember the three years prior to the Superbowl for the Pack when Favre against Dallas all three years in the playoff losses threw about fifty interceptions and had as many fumbles? His playoff record should be exmined more closely over the years. He has crushed Packer fans so many times. I love that we have Rodgers.

Matt, I agree with you about Favre putting Green Bay back on the map and like you I am a Favre fan and appreciate everything he did in Green Bay. But now he is in Minnesota and I am not a Minnesota fan,I am a Packer fan first and foremost. So as long as he plays in Minnesota I hope he does not do well or succeed very much which will prevent Minnesota from suceeding which is good for Packer fans plain and simple.

The big difference between Rodgers and Favre is Favre has done this for 16, 17 years and still does the same stupid things. Rodgers on the other hand learns from his mistakes and I doubt you will see a play like that from him again.

Rodgers brought the Packers back from 3 TD's down and put 45 points on the board. Tell me just how is that choking? If that had been Brett the Cards game would have turned into the St Louis playoff game a few years back with Favre throwing 6 INTS. There is NO EXCUSE for what Brett did against the Saints. Not even a HS QB would have thrown that pass. He should have ran for 5 or 6 yards and let MR Automatic put the Vikes in the SB. Brett, for whatever reason, just chokes in Big Games.

People like Matt are hero worshipping. It does not matter what BF is really like - their hero worship will not allow them to see anything bad against BF. It is sad but arguing with them will not come to anything. It is also sad that a lot of them want the Packers to fail - because the Packers did not fall prey to the hero worship and did what was best for the team. None will admit that the Packers are right - at least out loud - but they know it.
