The statue should be similar to the one at the Humane Society except Bud's left shoe stands in a "pile" leans against his daughter Laurel who is distractedly sitting at his side.
Bud is one of the worst commish that baseball has ever hadNo action on steroid users. He did get baseball back to Milwaukee at a big tax payers cost.Maybe just maybe he can take a hint from the football comish and start to punish the steroid users.

I was there when he blew that All Star game. My son jumped from his seat and screamed: "No." That is the iconic image of mediocrity -- allowing a tie in baseball.
I wish Charley would have realized this nonsense during the push for the stadium and during the McGuire/Sosa run.
Welcome to the party after everyone has already yelled surprise.
Nowhere does Charlie say he came up with this idea. He says he thinks this image works. Maybe, just maybe he saw it on a blog and posted it here. I really don't see any harm in that.

I think stealing ideas is very typical in today's world, the problem is that blogs often do the creative work and then bigger news sites take them as their own.
It's too bad 620 decided to do this.
To the commenters below... the same idea has probably occurred to lots of Brewer fans. Brilliant minds often think alike. Take a chill pill. (including you, Brendan Sweeney.)
You should put the statue next to the rest rooms. Yes he did bring baseball to Milwaukee, but has made a joke of the game in the last decade. Look the picture above and the steriod erea. It was all about money and brining fans back to the stands.

Charlie,
Are you suggesting that Selig should be defined by the tie in a meaningless All-Star game?(No World Series home field was decided at that time) Are you suggesting he shrugged while baseball was tarnished by steroids? The 2nd assertion may have merit. However, Bud Selig has also saved baseball from the ruin of the 94'-95' strike. He has made the American pasttime relevant again and kept baseball in Brewtown. For that, he deserves more than a statue.
I like it. It was Selig's relentless effort after the Braves left that brought the Brewers to Milwaukee. Although it may be hard for most people to look past the pathetic teams he put on the field in the early 2000's and the issues surrounding his time as commissioner, the bottom line is that Selig is the sole reason that the 39th largest metropolitan area in the US has a major league baseball team.
