The opinions of others aren't generally things one "believes", they are ideas which may or may not be useful in the process of forming one's own opinion. The fact that many people agree with Beck, Limbaugh, et al, isn't evidence they "believe" them, only that they agree with them, i.e. share many of their opinions. Seems obvious enough, but perhaps not to the lefty mind.

You're listening to Beck and Limbaugh? That would explain a lot. It's the equivalent of a liberal listening to Olbermann and Madow...you just can't believe them.
The One aside, anyone saying all forms of birth documentation are equivalent is wrong. In the specific case of the WI DMV, they refused to accept a "Birth Registration Certificate" (raised seal and all) from another state as a "Birth Certificate" for a student driver permit. Somewhere in government someone put in place a rule making such a distinction. Maybe it's an important one, maybe it's a pointless bureaucratic nit. But at least there won't be any of those when they run healthcare.

Hey, Maverick -- Why don't you order a copy of your birth certificate from the State of Wisconsin? When you do, you get a nearly identical document with the information re-shuffled into the same format. This is what a "birth certificate" looks like in the computer age. The Prez has displayed what the State of Hawaii now produces when a birth certificate is ordered. Some of you people are apparently so dense that this information doesn't penetrate the thick skull!
National Review MSM elites, yada, yada yada, When Glen Beck and Rush make the same pronouncement then I might reappraise my opinion. The Rinos are beginning to influence Charlie, its about time to think about storming the barricades before all hope is lost.

Perhaps a part of the appeal of the birther phenomenon is that it gives Obama's opponents the opportunity to do what his supporters do: completely ignore the evidence. Let's rephrase your comment: "The global temperature hasn't budged in a decade. Get over it. Move on." "The stimulus package hasn't fixed anything. Get over it. Move on." "The president doesn't know what's in his own signature legislation, the health-care bill. Get over it. Move on." You see? He can unite us after all.
If he wasn't native-born it would have come out in the vetting process for the Illinois state senate or the US Senate long ago. As Charlie says-GET OVER IT!!
It really doesn't matter if he was born here or not anymore. Let it go, you can't win this one. Focus on issues we can fight and win - like against Obamacare and Crap and Tax. Stop giving the statists the brush to paint us all as whack-jobs.
My inner conspiracy theorist thinks that the whole 'birther' movement was started by a liberal to make republicans look bad. Unfortunately it's caught on and has become the global warming equivalent on the right: No amount of evidence or reason can convince the true believers that Obama was born in the USA.
