MARK NEUMANN ON THIS AM

By Charlie Sykes

Former Congressman Mark Neumann announces that he's a candidate for governor today, and he'll join me in the 8:30 segment of the show.

Why? Its been a long time since he was in the political spotlight. Does he think he could be that much better than Scott Walker? Why doesn't he help us get Walker elected instead of trying to fracture us. I wont support him at all.

Huge mistake for Neuamnn to be running for Gov. What is the matter with you Republicans allowing this to happen? You want Doyle to win a third term? I am ticked! The only way to beat Doyle is to rally around Scott Walker.

What's the point of this? Walker is going to carry the day and all this does is divert attention away from the cretin we have now in Madison.

Running a primary against a qualified, well-liked, and viable candidate is not only a distraction, but a huge WASTE of money. This is not yours, Mark. Get out. Be a team player and don't force the waste of the R war chest on a Quixotic endeavor.

I love what Mark stands for but I have to agree that Walker gives the Repubs a better chance since he has proven he can get votes in Milwaukee. Repubs need someone to challenge for the US Senate. Consider that one perhaps.

Mark just said that we have do something with Milwaukee to help the state. Scott Walker is doing this right now. Mark's experience is old and outdated. Scott mixes it up with the Democrats all the time.

Mark, you are a good man but I would rather see you as our next Senator. DON’T DO THIS. I’ve already started sending $$$ to the Walker campaign and will continue to do so. I would be a fool to send money to both of you running for the SAME OFFICE.

Mark, STUPID decision. Why waste your time or money. The people spoke loudly in support of Scott at the GOP state convention. Did you listen? Or are you another Doyle... it's all about you.

Neumann is the candidate of the Republican "in crowd". They will accept Walker only reluctanly, because with Walker they will lose some of their clout. Neumann will cater more to them and they feel Neumann is stronger state wide than Walker.

I asked Neumann at the GOP conv to run against Feingold so I could support him. His legacy will be that he is the one who screwed up the Repubs in 2010. We tried a congressman in 2006 - it didn't work. Hope Doyle isn't re-elected because of this.

If he runs the state like he did Neuman Homes (now bankrupt) we are in trouble. Mark get out and don't cause problems. Vote for Walker.

This is the same example of the Republican "Old Guard" that gave us another "It's my turn" candidate in John McCain which resulted in turning this country over to a socialist regime. Get with the team or get on the sidelines but stop obstructing.

Who except Charlie really believes this is Walker's turn to run. Milwaukee Co. is a basket case and Walker hasn't made it work, unfortunately he's the CEO of a County that ran about as well as Midwest Air.

Ditto what Walt said. I fear Mark Neumann is the Mark Green of 2010. It won't make a difference to the attack ads that he's been out of Washington for 10 years and I don't see any Rep but Walker carrying Milw Co.

If Mark Neumann has his heart set on running for Governor, then he should go for it, BUT HE SHOULD RUN AGAINST DOYLE IN THE DEMOCRAT PRIMARY. That would be so good for the BIG TENT Democrats.
