SECRET BALLOTS FOR ME, BUT NOT FOR THEE

Wispolitics reports:

 

The office of U.S. Sen. Russ Feingold declined this afternoon to comment on how the Middleton Democrat voted in today's proceedings on U.S. Sen. Joe Lieberman's future. The office of U.S. Sen. Herb Kohl, D-Milwaukee, hand't responded to WisPolitics.com at press time.

Feingold's tight lips on this issue mirrored the rest of his colleagues, with few willing to discuss what was said in today's meetings to determine various committee chairmanship and leadership positions in the next Congress, which gets underway in January.

These would be the same Democrats poised to strip workers of the right to a secret ballot in deciding whether to join unions....
