Amy, I don't recall anyone calling him the one or the messiah other than right wing talkers. I have heard people compare him to Kennedy. America has had enough of the right wing idealogues pandering to the religious right. Right Wingers have had control of the Presidency for 20 of the last 28 years, have appointed the majority of Supreme Court Justices and federal judges, and have held control of the Legislative Branch for a majority of the last 25 years. They can't lead so resort to fear.

He understands that "greedy" companies (read: ones that make a profit) create jobs, and that taxing profits, income, and everything that moves kills the economy, he understands how to defend us against Islamists, he understands the Second Amendment, he's pro-life, he would appoint Constitutionally-literate judges to the SCOTUS, he's more bipartisan than Obama, he won't kowtow to every world leader. McCain will put US first. Obama won't.
