A WAVE OF FRAUD

By Charlie Sykes

While the JS editorial board continues in a state of adamant denial, evidence of massive fraud continues to mount..

Investors Business Daily gets it.

Election Fraud: A radical group Barack Obama used to work for is committing voter-registration fraud in several states, ahead of the election. What does Obama know about this scam?

It's a legitimate question to raise now that the FBI has raided the offices of the nonprofit Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now in Nevada and North Carolina, two states where Obama and John McCain are running neck-and-neck. ACORN has registered bogus voters in both states.

The group's voter-registration fraud is rampant, and authorities plan a nationwide sweep of ACORN offices to collect records.

The NY Post calls its Vote Fraud A-Go-Go

Let every vote count, is the Democratic Party's mantra these days. That slogan might better be: Let every vote count as often as we need to win.

Such, at any rate, are the tactics of ACORN, Barack Obama's favorite "community organizers," and its Project Vote - of which, the Democratic presidential candidate has boasted, "I started working as the director . . . here in Chicago."

ACORN has been implicated in voter-fraud schemes in 15 states - including Ohio, from where The Post's Jeane MacIntosh reports today that a Board of Elections investigation has unearthed evidence of widespread voter fraud.

The wave of ACORN-related fraud continues to sweep across the country. Here's a quick review from Powerline:

The main voter fraud organization is ACORN, with which Obama has a long relationship. Currently, at least seven states are investigating evidence of voter fraud perpetrated by ACORN. The latest is Missouri:

Charlene Davis, co-director of the election board in Jackson County, where Kansas City is, said the fraudulent registration forms came from the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, or ACORN. She said they were bogging down work Wednesday, the final day Missourians could register to vote.

"I don't even know the entire scope of it because registrations are coming in so heavy," Davis said. "We have identified about 100 duplicates, and probably 280 addresses that don't exist, people who have driver's license numbers that won't verify or Social Security numbers that won't verify. Some have no address at all."

In Nevada, law enforcement authorities executed a search warrant at ACORN's headquarters and carried off computers as well as registration records...

Then there's Connecticut:

One of the phony registrations was for a 7-year-old girl in the Marina Village housing complex, whose age was listed as 27 on the voter card.

Oh come on people! I am a full fledged anti-Obamaite (and anti-McCain, more is the pity) and ACORN fraud may in the very worst possible case bring in .25 to .4 of 1% of the total vote. For it to matter in this election, even in your wildest conspiracy theories the vote will have to be within 1%. If that were to happen, complaints might have some modicum of pertinence.

We "Righties" won't resort to ACORN's (and Dems) despicable voter fraud schemes - we wouldn't betray our values - I guess you're not betraying your values, since you have none, except trying to win at any cost - I'm not being sarcastic when I say I pity your immortal souls

So, if Obama wins despite leading in national polls, despite leading in some battlegrounds states, and possibly winning in unthinkables like Virginia, Florida or gulp North Carolina, as he is ahead in polls, will it be because of fraud? You Righties can laugh all you want about community organizers, but I can bet in the next election, the right will rip pages from Obama's community organizing and use cell phones and computers. Watertown opened an Obama office-havent had a Dem office in decades

STEALING THE VOTES OF AMERICANS IS OUTRAGEOUS !!! Acorn's voter fraud registration must be investigated prior to the election. Also, Obama's involvement must be investigated prior to the election. With the increasing number of anti-American racists and crooks surrounding Obama, we must insure that he does not steal this election. We must also investigate the legitimacy of Obama's foreign and domestic campaign contributions prior to the election.

More for JR-- Obama:I've been fighting alongside ACORN on issues you care about my entire career. Even before I was an elected official, when I ran Project Vote voter registration drive in Illinois, ACORN was smack dab in the middle of it, and we appreciate your work.”

JR-- An Obama spokesman said Federal Election Commission reports would be amended to show Citizens Services Inc. — a subsidiary of ACORN — worked in “get-out-the-vote” projects, instead of activities such as polling, advance work and staging major events as stated in FEC finance reports filed during the primary.

JR: Arguing whether Obama "worked for" ACORN or "represented" them, is like asking if a blank sheet of paper is white or simply, lacking color. Either way, it is just another of his shady associations which shows the content of his character. And yes I use his associations to judge him, because he hasn't given us anyhting else.

Okay, Dan, tell us the truth-- you work for Mayor Barrett, right?? Do us a favor, give him a couple names!!

GREAT STUFF!! Obama NEVER worked for ACORN, he represented them as an attorney in a successful case ALONG with the US Dept of Justice against the state of IL. Acorn was not part of the voter registration drive that Obama ran in 1992. Oh well, let's keep these details a little blurry and perpetuate this garbage because it sure does make great fodder for the FEW who eat it up.

The people I kind of feel sorry for are the real names set up by ACORN. I would feel either betrayed and diminished or be in utter denial if I was an Obama fanatic. So RB, with no God anymore, is the phrase 'G@ddamn liberals' still a swear word or just an appropriate epithet? (Sorry liberal Christians, but if you endorse the liberal elitist attitude, atheism will get you sooner or later.) Democrats today are not the party of the anti-christ, they are the party of no christ.

Tuerqas has it right---tell a lie long enough and loud enough and it will be believed. Like Hitler........ We are all together corrupted as a nation and living a lie under the banners of "truth" and "change". We must plead 'God have mercy on America', not 'God bless America'. Of course since there is no God, there is no God, there is no God, there is no God has been proclaimed, we can neither ask Him to bless or have mercy! Logically our next step is our demise.

I looked everywhere on the MSM morning shows for the ACORN scandal - WHERE IS THE STORY??? We could be talking about over a million fraudulent voter registrations from at least 6 states. Isn't this how Barry got elected in Chicago in the first place? Didn't he find some loophole to get his opponent off the ballot?

Would vote fraud be an impeachable offense if it is denied under oath after the election? Interesting scenario-two Democratic presidents in a row facing congressional review.

Dan: I was about to ask...what if Obama does win through fraud? What happens then?

Thursday, Oct 9 at 9:16 AM The Family Guy wrote ...

It amazes me that so little attention has been paid to this fraud, both by the left and the right. The MSM ignores it, or politicizes the story as Republican whining. Republicans themselves seem to just accept that the fraud will occur. If we have a president that is elected through a massive nationwide campaign of fraud that disenfranchises half of the electorate, what makes us any better than Venezuela, or Zimbabwe, or Iran for that matter. Better stand up and shout it from the hill tops

Thursday, Oct 9 at 8:45 AM Dan wrote ...

O come now Dan, do we put an astrisk next to GW's win in '00. Because the republican state sponsored voter fraud in Florida was the biggest in history. Don't worry - the repub. goons are going to do everything they can to rig the election - it's your only hope.

But, but... there is no voter fraud. There is no voter fraud. There is no voter fraud. There is no voter fraud. There is no voter fraud. There is no voter fraud. There is no voter fraud. There is no voter fraud. There is no voter fraud. There is no voter fraud. There is no voter fraud. There is no voter fraud. There is no voter fraud. There is no voter fraud. There is no voter fraud. Now it is clear, Right? Don't you understand? There is no voter fraud!!!

If Obama wins and it turns out there was massive voter fraud maybe there should be an asterisk next to his name letting students of history know that his followers cheaters through vote fraud.
