An eight point lead gone.
A 48/40 lead after the convention turns quickly to dust. Better still, the new poll was conducted from Monday to Wednesday, so her speech hasn’t fully impacted yet.
No crosstabs yet, but note well the trends in enthusiasm. Dude, I think she might be … The One.

You stay classy, Caveman... I repeat - you Libs/Howling-Moonbats have no sense of humor beyond denigrating Bush (which is very stale humor at best)...

Are you sure that tub of lard doesn't just have a speech problem from all the oxycodone, hydrocodone and who knows what else? The disturbing tours of the Caribbean while toting along Viagra can't help either....

Peter THEB was making a joke that obviously went over the head of the LIB who wrote below - Rush L. (Our Supreme Maximum Leader - that's another joke, just so you know) sometimes makes fun of the New York dialect by calling youths "utes" - now do you get it?? I doubt it...

"America's utes"??? What the heck is that? Somebody is thrusting the Spears girls onto the sport utility trucks of our nation?? I'm guessing you meant YOUTHS. You better go back to school for a while before you criticize public schools like most "conservatives".

Ollie4 wrote "Mike, McCain does not own 7 homes; his wife does." Don't you know that doesn't matter, they belong to her husband. Seriously the strangest thing about this election so far is the sort of reversal on a woman's place. Michelle Obama's speech all but ignored her own career: her father's daughter, her brother's site a wife and mother. Meanwhile the left is attacking Palin on the grounds she should stay home and forget her career. I just never imagined it would go where it has.

Sometimes I think O'Reilly is a pinhead himself - who cares about the Spears girls? They are irrelevant to politics - As a Conservative, I don't always agree with O'Reilly -it's like criticizing the Pope and saying he represents all Christians- I'm a Christian, but I'm not Catholic

Here's where Jon Stewart is wrong: the likes of Jamie Lynn Spears are thrust upon America's utes by the culture as role models. Bristol Palin was not.

1. When Obama considered the former mayor of Richmond and gov. of Virgina for VP, Karl Rove said Richmond (over 200,000 pop) was too small to serve as good experience. 2. When some claimed sexism against Hillary, Dick Morris, Sarah Palin and others told her not to hide behind the term. 3. When Jamie Spears was pregnant, O'Reilly called her a pinhead and said her parents had no control. I challenge conservatives to watch this clip and then justify your talking points.

Mike, you are so right! After she's done being veep, she will be the head of the Republican ticket, and the first female President of this great nation will not be a bitter old socialist. The future is looking so bright...

Anon - five points is nothing. And the results from the RNC aren't in yet. Two months is a long time. This is going to be a hell of a race, and Obama just might lose.

I think you are missing the point Mike. We are being told my many on the left that she is not qualified to be VP. But the problem is that she has as much [if not more] experience when you compare how much experience Obama had when he first started running for President. And since the number of houses that Kerry owned didn't matter why does it matter how many McCain owns?

Was watching MSNBC and they just reported Hillary is heading to Florida Friday or sometime early next week. Also, Obama has called on all Democrat female Gov's to scatter across the USA promoting The One. VP Palin has struck fear into Obama/Biden, thus this panic move of his. Just think, Obama could have picked Hillary and coasted to victory, but Michelle was going to have no part of that. The female vote is in play...sweety. See you in Cedarburg!

"Awesome" 4 out of 4 of my children are now voteing Republican "YES". I have to say, look at the type of people Mccain surounds himself with, and look at the type of people Obama surounds himself with. I think that says it all. McCain not only said what he wanted to change, but HOW he was going to do it. I didn't here that in the Democratic Convention. That's all I want to say. Thank you.

Since Palin has been a President of the PTA, a Mayor, and a Governor using the McCain argument, shouldn't she be the head of the Republican ticket? After all, her executive experience is more than Obama's and Biden's. And since McCain has only been a Senator, he therefore has no executive experience either, right? Or, since McCain owns seven homes, does that make him a real estate executive?

LOL. Focus on the poll that is best for your candidate and ignore the fact that the composite numbers show Obama up by 5 points nationally and doing even better in key swing states. Keep dreaming.
