There were 15,000 media members at the convention, including approx 120 bloggers who were given floor credentials (who by no means are there to be objective). This story that "several" members of the media were seen clapping, and "dozens" standing on the periphery were chanting with the crowd. Wow. Imagine that. At this historic moment in our history, a blogger or small target market media member clapped for Obama's acceptance of the nomination. Yeah, quite an indictment of the "media".

No surprise. I pretty much got that impression after Bill Clinton's speech when I listened to news reporters elated that Bill Clinton said Barack is ready in his speech. As if now the matter is finally settled because Clinton said what his wife wouldn't.
