Kind of flies in the face of the "same old politics" line the Obama camp likes to use with McCain. Very classy ad.

I was mixed on this ad; before I saw Obama’s speech last night. I too don’t like the idea of congratulating the enemy, as Al said. But if you put this congratulatory ad from McCain alongside Obama’s angry acceptance speech last night I see some future side by side ads from the McCain camp making the Obama camp look like the TYPICAL angry victimized liberal’s that they are. When I look at it that way this sweet little ad from McCain could look more like a shot across Obama’s bow.

I don't like it one bit. You should never show any kindness or mercy to your enemy, and that's what Obama is: The Enemy. Makes me wonder if McCain is really strong enough to protect our country. Will he send congratulations to Russia when they conquer Ukraine, or to Iran for destroying Israel?

You obviously have never seen a politician before. McSame and "the One" are are just two sides of the same freedom destroying coin.
