The hypocrisy of Al Gore....

I am sure that Al Gore has purchased lots of "carbon offsets" to make it OK for his own "carbon footprints", right?

Jeff, I assume you're being sarcastic, otherwise - why is Gore's life worth more than my own? Why is Gore's comfort and safety more valuable than my son's? There is no excuse for an elite to drive around in cars, live in heated/air conditioned mansions, while telling *me* I need to turn over my keys, turn off my lights, and set my thermostat at 85º in summer and 55º in winter. All while making sure I can never afford a job more than 5 miles from my home and taxing me on top of it!

Oh, let's not get on Mr. Gore's case for the three car entourage! That is probably mandated by the Secret Service. Try protecting a guy on a city bus! There are certainly enough legitimate stones to cast at Al Gore. But his safety -- and his family's -- shouldn't enter into these discussions. Their lives are worth a few extra carbon credits.

C'mon, folks. Al just believes the "Animal Farm" maxim that all animals are created equal, but some animals are more equal than others...apparently.

This is just another wonderful example of Gore's hypocritical philosophy "Do as I say, not as I do!" It is okay for him to do this since he can buy his carbon credits.
