Super Bowl Frenzy: Packers Fans Pour Into Dallas for the Big Game
By WTMJ News Team
DALLAS - Through what was sometimes treacherous conditions, the Packers faithful have filled Dallas to follow their team. A number of people down there don't even have tickets to the game.
Whether they have a ticket or not, they're pumped up and ready to party!
Jackie Crandal has a ticket to the Superbowl, but her flight got cancelled. She tried to get another, but eventually gave up and drove.
Crandal says she spent 26 hours in the car with her 9-year-old son. She left Thursday afternoon and says the worst weather she hit was in Oklahoma. "Lemme just say, they don't know how to plow in Oklahoma. There were semis passing us and it was turning into one lane, I thought I was going to lose my life." She didn't. She made it to Dallas on Saturday.
TODAY'S TMJ4 Reporter Vince Vitrano found people from all over Wisconsin outside Cowboys Stadium. People from Eau Claire, Oconomowoc and everywhere in between are predicting a win!
