MILWAUKEE - With the 45th edition of the biggest sporting event in the world - well, America at least, and the Green Bay Packers playing in it for the first time in 13 seasons, it's a reality that most people connected to this organization - and almost everyone on the team - have never played in this game.

So perhaps some tips are in order to help the team.

XXIX: Listen to those who have been there before.  They know the pressures and the experience.
During this incredible hallmark game, past players from your franchise will show up at the game.

We already know that Bart Starr will be there.  There will be lots of others.

Take advantage of them being there.  Listen to them, especially those who have won this game.

Listen to your predecessors on the team as well, like Charles Woodson, who have lost this game, and hear why.

Take those things to heart.

XXX: Get used to Cowboys Stadium.  You've never played there before.
It's the biggest football stadium in the NFL.  It's taller than the Sears Tower, uh make that the Willis Tower...nah.  Sears Tower.  But I digress.

There will be 105,000 people in the monstrosity nicknamed Jerryworld.

Get used to the surroundings.  Try to get inside the place, and have a practice there.

When you've been on a field before, you have a comfort factor.

Take it and run with it.  It will help you feel more at home in such a huge neutral site game in the biggest stadium the NFL has ever seen (this side of Mexico).

XXXI: Pittsburgh's tight ends can burn you.  Don't let them.
Heath Miller and Matt Spaeth are the enemy of the Green Bay Packers, perhaps than any more eligible receiver in this game.

That's because Pittsburgh has been so strong at the tight end position with them - especially Miller - for years, and that's the Packers' weakness.

That is, until they played the Falcons and rendered Tony Gonzalez useless.

They did nearly the same to Greg Olsen in the NFC Championship game.

The ability to shut down the tight end will be a big way to try to hold down Ben Roethlisberger.

Stop Miller and Spaeth, and you get very close.

XXXII: Look back to past Super Bowl Packers win for how to get it done.
In each Super Bowl victory for the Packers, there was a long touchdown pass.
- I: Bart Starr to Max McGee, 37 yards
- II: Starr to Boyd Dowler, 62 yards
- XXXI: Brett Favre to Andre Rison, 54 yards, and Antonio Freeman, 81 yards

In each win, there was dominant pass rush.
- I and II: Big sacks from Willie Davis
- XXXI: Reggie White with three second-half sacks.

In each win, there was a long return that put the Packers in complete control.
- I: Willie Wood, 50 yards, off a Len Dawson pass
- II: Herb Adderley, 60 yards for a touchdown, off a Daryl Lamonica pass
- XXXI: Desmond Howard, 99 yards for a touchdown, off a kickoff return

You have Aaron Rodgers, the best receiving corps in the NFL, Clay Matthews and a ball-hawking secondary.

You have the formula available to win the same way.  Use it.
