GREEN BAY - Former Green Bay Packers President and CEO Bob Harlan is fired up for Super Bowl Sunday.  He spoke with Newsradio 620 WTMJ's Dan O'Donnell.

"I'm extremely proud of the entire team and very proud of Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy."

Harlan said their jobs were made more difficult by a rash of injuries this season that would have sunk a lesser organization.

"They've done a marvelous job this year so we're all just delighted," he said.

Especially delightful to Harlan is the way that Thompson and Ron Wolf have resurrected the Packers to their Titletown glory.

"In the 70s and 80s, we had four winning seasons and two playoff appearances.  In the last 20 years, with Ron Wolf and Ted Thompson running the organization, we've had four losing seasons.  So, you talk about a total turnaround of a franchise, those two men have done it and I'm very proud of both of them."
