Super Bowl Frenzy: Kuhn Meets With Fans
By Shelley Walcott
Next game: February 6th at Super Bowl XLV vs. Pittsburgh
WAUKESHA - The air was electric at Waukesha Sportscards Thursday night, as fans gathered to meet Green Bay Packers fullback John Kuhn.
Fans paid $30 each to have Kuhn sign posters, hats, laptops, and just about anything else.
Kuhn himself was in a great mood, telling TODAY'S TMJ4's Shelley Walcott that he can hardly wait to get to Dallas: "I'm pretty excited about that. I haven't been to this new stadium, and any time you go down there to Dallas to play it's always a special treat."
Dallas won't be his first Super Bowl. Kuhn got a championship ring with the 2006 Pittsburgh Steelers team when he played on the team's practice squad.
"I keep that one locked up in a safe," he said.
Kuhn says he's overwhelmed by the fan support he's received here in Wisconsin. And he said he's ready to win another Super Bowl.
"It will be a little bit more special for me simply the fact that I'll be playing in this game rather than just being on the sidelines. So I'm really excited about that and I think we got a pretty good shot."
