MADISON - Normally, the lights that shine at night at the State Capitol illuminate the white on the building's trademark dome.
That will change on the week of the Super Bowl.
Republican Govenor Scott Walker has granted a request from Democratic State Senator Fred Risser and has ordered the dome to be lit in green and gold, the colors of the Green Bay Packers, for the week leading up to the Super Bowl.
"While there are always going to be policy and political differences at the Capitol, we can all agree that we want the Packers to bring the Lombardi Trophy home to Wisconsin," said the Governor in a statement.
