WH Tours Remain Closed, Senate Barbershop Still Open!
While White House tours remain closed due to sequestration, it appears that the barbershop for the U.S. Senate remains open. Despite several attempts over the years to privatize this entity, if not close the doors and save taxpayer dollars, it appears this is a cut that lawmakers are not willing to make. Then again, our senators' schedules are very hectic and asking them to find an hour or two in their busy days to get a haircut somewhere outside the Capitol is a bit extreme. (yes, that's sarcasm you're sensing)
