Barrett Shakes Up Election Commission...But Why?
On Friday, Mayor Tom Barrett replaced (read fired) the head of the city's election commission in a somewhat surprising move by a man who regularly finds little to complain about in the way of how his city runs elections. Just as curious as the move itself, is the reason why Barrett decided to do this. Unfortunately, that is a question that the local media did not find interesting enough to delve into when reporting the change this weekend.
