Is Thompson's Lead Insurmountable?
The newest Marquette University Political Science poll is out and it shows Tommy Thompson with a wide lead over all of his GOP challengers in the primary for the U.S. Senate, coupled with a substantial lead over Democrat Tammy Baldwin, many say it's Thompson's to lose at this point. Is it over or does this just mean that Thompson will soon face a barrage of attacks from both sides of the aisle?
